This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Brown Ale began it’s journey as an imperialized version of our beloved Buster’s Brown Ale. Increasing the malt and sugar yield of the original beer; the body, flavor and aroma also realized a hefty increase in expression. The end result is a full bodied brown ale rich with oak barrel and bourbon notes, as well as satisfying brown ale chocolate and caramelized malt character. The addition of roasted pecans and blueberries layers added depth to the toasted malt character and subtle vinous quality of this barrel-aged ale.
