Lancaster Energy, the City’s innovative clean energy provider, is proud to announce its first Power Choice+ commercial solar customer: Bravery Brewing Company. To mark the milestone, the City of Lancaster, alongside Participate Energy and Bravery Brewing, will host a special event on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bravery Brewing.

The event, titled the “Sunergize Event,” will celebrate Bravery Brewing’s transition into solar power. Guests are invited to “Join us as we tap into the power of the Sun” with a ceremonial “flip of the switch” ribbon cutting and the debut of Bravery’s newest creation: Sunshine Seltzer, crafted especially for the occasion.

“Lancaster has long been a leader in renewable energy, and today we’re taking that vision another step forward,” said Vice Mayor Marvin Crist. “By working with Power Choice, Bravery Brewing is setting an example for other local businesses—showing how clean energy can power growth, innovation, and sustainability right here in our community.”

The celebration will include remarks from local leaders, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the first official tasting of Sunshine Seltzer. The community is invited to attend and get a taste of a major step forward in Lancaster’s clean energy future.
